วันนี้ (15 ก.ย.65) เวลา 1000 น. พล.ต.ท. สุคุณ พรหมายน ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยวได้มอบหมายให้ พล.ต.ต.อภิชาติ สุริบุญญา โฆษกกองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยวแจ้งต่อสื่อมวลชนว่า ตามที่ได้มีข่าวแพร่กระจายใน social media หลาย platforms กรณีขอให้สังคมช่วยกันตามหาคนเยอรมันสูญหายชื่อ Mr Tim Pössel ซึ่งเดินทางมาประเทศไทยเมื่อวันที่ 16 ส.ค.65 และติดต่อครอบครัวครั้งสุดท้ายวันที่ 20 ส.ค.65 จากนั้นได้หายตัวไปโดยไม่สามารถติดต่อได้อีกนั้น
ทางกองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยวได้รับทราบกรณีดังกล่าวตามที่แพร่กระจายใน social media แล้วจากการประสานงานของ Police TV ซึ่งตำรวจท่องเที่ยวขอถือโอกาสนี้ขอบคุณทาง Police TV ไว้ ณ ที่นี้ และได้ร่วมเป็นอีกแรงหนึ่งที่ช่วยตรวจสอบและตามหาบุคคลสูญหายรายนี้ด้วย
โดยการดำเนินการนั้น ได้ประสานกับกงสุลสถานทูตเยอรมันีประจำประเทศไทยเพื่อรับทราบข้อมูลเพื่อที่จะทำงานบูรณาการไปด้วยกัน จากนั้นได้สั่งการไปยังสถานีตำรวจท่องเที่ยวทั่วประเทศให้เร่งสืบหาโดยด่วน รวมทั้งหาข้อมูลการเข้าออกเมืองโดยประสานงานกับสำนักงานตำรวจตรวจคนเข้าเมืองด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังติดต่อไปยังเพจต้นทางที่ลงเรื่องนี้ และกำลังพยายามติดต่อกับครอบครัวของผู้สูญหายอยู่
โดยเมื่อเย็นวันที่ 14 ก.ย.65 ก็ได้รับแจ้งข้อมูลว่า Mr Tim Pössel ได้เดินทางออกจากประเทศไทยไปแล้วเมื่อวันที่ 5 ก.ย.65 โดยผ่านด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมืองเชียงแสน จังหวัดเชียงราย ซึ่งเป็นจุดผ่านแดนถาวรสะพานมิตรภาพไทย-ลาวแห่งที่ 4
สำหรับข้อมูลทั่วไปที่เปิดเผยได้นั้น Mr Tim Pössel มีชื่อเต็มว่า Timothy Benjamin Pösel เป็นนักท่องเที่ยวชาวเยอรมัน มีการเข้าออกประเทศไทยหลายครั้ง โดยเข้าครั้งล่าสุดในวันที่ 16 ส.ค.65 และเดินทางประเทศไทยไปล่าสุดวันที่ 5 ก.ย.65 ตามที่ได้กล่าวไป ซึ่งตำรวจท่องเที่ยวขอถือโอกาสนี้แจ้งสื่อมวลชนเพื่อขอความร่วมมือแจ้งไปยัง social media ทุก platforms ต่อกรณีดังกล่าวนี้ด้วย และจะหาทางติดต่อครอบครัวของ Mr Tim Posel ให้ทราบความคืบหน้าต่อไป
พล.ต.ต. อภิชาติฯ โฆษกกองบัญชาการตำรวจท่องเที่ยวได้กล่าวขอบคุณ Police TV ที่ได้แจ้งเรื่องนี้มาให้ทราบ และขอขอบคุณสื่อใน social media ทุก platforms ที่ได้ช่วยกันทำหน้าที่เจ้าภาพที่ดีในครั้งนี้ โดยเมื่อสังคมและประชาชนช่วยกันเป็นหูเป็นตาแล้ว ตำรวจก็สามารถทำงานได้ง่ายขึ้น นี่คือบรรยากาศที่ทุกประเทศที่พัฒนาแล้วต้องการอย่างย่ิง นั่นคือ ความร่วมมือและความเป็นหุ้นส่วนกันระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาชน โดยหากความร่วมมือในลักษณะนี้เข้มแข็งแล้ว สังคมก็จะปลอดภัย และการท่องเที่ยวก็จะมีความมั่นคง ซึ่งจะทำให้เพิ่มความสามารถในการแข่งขันด้านการท่องเที่ยวให้กับประเทศไทยได้อย่างดี นอกจากนี้ยังกล่าวอีกว่า นี่คือการใช้เทคโนโลยีในทางที่สร้างสรรค์และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมโลกเป็นอย่างย่ิง ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวพร้อมเสมอที่จะรับใช้สังคมและประชาชน และดูแลความปลอดภัยคุ้มครองนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยและต่างประเทศทุกคนที่เดินทางมาเที่ยวประเทศไทย
Tourist police join in searching for a missing German tourist
Today (15 September 2022) at 1000 hrs. Pol. Lt. Gen. Sukhun Pormmayon, Commissioner of the Tourist Police Bureau has assigned Pol Maj Gen Apichat Suriboonya, spokesman for the Tourist Police Bureau, told the press that according to the news spreading on many social media platforms asking the community to help find a missing German named Mr Tim Pössel, who traveled to Thailand on 16 August 2022 and contacted his family last time on 20 August 2022 then disappeared without being able to be contacted again.
The Tourist Police Bureau has been informed the case by the Police TV in which the Tourist Police Bureau would like to take this opportunity to thank Police TV for this matter and also join its forces to find this missing person.
By doing that, the Tourist Police Commissioner has coordinated with the Consulate section of the German Embassy in Thailand to obtain information in order to work together. Then, Mr Commissoner ordered all Tourist Police Stations across the country to urgently investigate and search the missing person. In addition, the Tourist Police Bureau coordinated with the Immigration for in-out country record of the missing person, and also contacted the original page that posted this story, as well as is trying to contact the family of the missing person.
On the evening of 14 September 2022, the Tourist Police Bureau was informed that Mr Tim Pössel had left Thailand on 5 September 2022 passing through the Chiang Saen immigration checkpoint, Chiang Rai province where is the permanent border crossing point of the 4th Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge.
Mr Tim Pössel’s full name is Timothy Benjamin Pösel. He is a German tourist. There have been many times in and out of Thailand. The last entry was on 16 August 2022 and left from Thailand on 5 September 2022 as mentioned earlier.
The Tourist Police would like to take this opportunity to inform the media and ask for cooperation to inform all social media platforms in this case. Then, the tourist police will find a way to contact Mr Tim Posel’s family for further progress.
Pol Maj Gen Apichat, spokesman for the Tourist Police Bureau, thanked the Police TV for reporting this matter and also thank all social media platforms for helping to act as a good host this time. He also said that when society and people help each other, the police is able to work more easily. This is the atmosphere that every developed country desperately needs: “cooperation and partnership between the public, private and public sectors.” If this kind of cooperation becomes strong, then society will be safe and tourism will be stable and confident. This will increase the competitiveness of tourism for Thailand as well. He added that this is the use of technology in a very creative and beneficial way for the global society. The Tourist Police is always ready to serve society and people, and take care of safety and protection for all Thai and foreign tourists traveling to Thailand.
